I: Temple of the Forsaken (Cyrus Nayan’s song) Leave me here, bleak and abandoned. Such are my thoughts, As I search for a sign, Clenching hands with cross. Lord, I fear I’ve reached the end of the line. For I am, the oldest of three. A bastard, I shall never be free. For I have no right to the throne, As I was conceived before the King was wed. My tomb will bear no markings in stone. For I have no true purpose, Cast me away, into the depths of solitude. Nothing more than a blank slate, Legends of the ability to lift face. Sways me bound a journey past the stonegate, Towards the Temple of the Forsaken. Soon my transformation will begin, A new man, born of sin. God of the Forsaken. Please take me in, Cleanse my soul. Give me back a life worth living, And make me whole, And make me whole. For I have no true purpose, Cast me away, into the depths of solitude. Nothing more than a blank slate, Legends of the ability to lift face. Sways me bound a journey past the stonegate, Towards the Temple of the Forsaken. At last, I have found the answer. To the unanswered question of my future and of my being. Towards the Temple of the Forsaken, I shall find my calling. Towards The Temple of the Forsaken. I shall wear a mask, To shadow the truth of my face. Cloaked in the light of the day, My wrath shall be unveiled. As the new flesh is placed against my face, I am transformed, into a new man. A man that I need, To plant the deadly seed. To The Temple of the Forsaken. For I have no true purpose, Cast me away, into the depths of solitude. Nothing more than a blank slate, Legends of the ability to lift face. Sways me bound a journey past the stonegate, Towards the Temple of the Forsaken.

II: A Heart, an Eye, and a Womb (Wrth Nayan’s song) What kind of man am I today? Am I the proper son? To be King of my fellow brethren, Or am I just a fool? Nursed to believe that I wouldn’t falter, That I wouldn’t misstep my kindred. In the strides of wealth, Or in eyes of evil, and in the wake of war. Your passing is coming, As will mine, And as will the next Nayan King’s. Pray for me Alton, for your son, for your legacy. For everything you're leaving behind. But most of all, Alton. Pray for the populace of Gnara. Should the legacy be passed down to Draizen? Is he the one overlooked and overshadowed? By a man whose always been put on a pedestal, By a man who's been promised the crown his entire life. Soon the torch will be passed down, From my father, Alton, to me. A hundred thousand years of our own blood. This Kingship bares the highest honor. To our ancestors, and our progeny. Please stand by me, Telora, In my time of need. As Alton’s death draws near, For I will need a heart, an eye, and a womb. For devotion and love, to conduct me through the darkest of hours. And to carry on the Nayan bloodline, Please stand by me, Telora. Will Telora still guide me? Still provide me with the strength to thrust forth. Even if I misjudge, miscalculate, over or underestimate, The allies of the throne, or the foes of Gnara. As women, brothers, and children die, In allegiance to the throne. A price paid for the greater good. For the security of our home. I know that you will provide me, With the light to my dark, With the love to my hate, With the strength to my weakness. And with the healing to my pain. Till the last beat of my heart. As Alton’s death draws near. For I will need a heart, an eye, and a womb. For devotion and love, to conduct me through the darkest of hours, And to carry on the Nayan bloodline. Please stand by me, Telora.

III: Whispers of Ruin (Draizen Nayan’s song) So help me God. For these wretched thoughts, Are not bound by the joys of life, By the wonders of the world, Or the salvation of the people of Gnara. As Wryth and I have evolved into men, Gnara has chosen Wryth time and again. Alton’s legacy is not mine to bear. For I shall pave my own in time, Outside the walls of Stonegate. I shall raise an army of my own, Outside the walls. Outside the walls lays a reign to hold. Before I leave the city of Gnara, I shall visit the Tree of Quaytra. To set it ablaze and watch it burn. These whispers of ruin will one day be sung, For they are of a trained tongue, This voice decrees end to the Nayan throne. What is life without family, without love? My journey afar will reconcile the two. I will not be exiled forever, For I shall one day return, To the bailey of Gnara. To set it ablaze and watch it burn. These whispers of ruin will one day be sung, For they are of a trained tongue, This voice decrees end to the Nayan throne. To the highest peak in the East, My odyssey shall beckon the call of the deceased. These whispers of ruin will one day be sung, For they are of a trained tongue, This voice decrees end to the Nayan throne. My calling has been answered, To the East I flee. For I have always felt bound, As a half-dead I shall be set free. Free, Set me free to the East!

IV: In a Gale of Inferno (Kyliesta Nayan’s song) So I guess this is farewell, May you Rest in Peace. I have vowed to find a companion of your approval. One that shares your gracious heart, Your charming smile, And undeniable fealty. I will help guide my father, Wryth, As he helped guide you. Maneuvering through the fields of madness, Or the celebration and triumph of great riches afar. Watch over me, from above the clouds, Shelter me in times of darkness. Be my warden in times of chaos, In times when the sun doesn’t rise, And when the moon doesn’t glow. I can feel the winds of change, They are shaping, forming and evolving. Leaving Gnara stained forevermore, In a gale of inferno. Something deep from within, Pulling on the strings of my senses. Blurred visions and faint voices, Of a future not so distant. The calm and chilling waters, Of a Stygian Baptism. Farwell Alton, May you Rest in Peace.

V: Hand of a Serth (Telora Nayan’s song) Lands far away I used to call home, A place of such beauty of such elegance. A place... a place... that I used to call home. And now it’s gone. Anamaya, it was called. The scene of mint and lavender, The trees and flowers of such vivid color. Beyond your wildest dreams, Where the wind blows the most gentle breeze. Where the Sun always shines, And the moon never glows. Such a place no longer remains, The Risen breached the walls, And slaughtered every last dweller. I managed to survive, However in their wake, I may never birth heir. This curse of no longer able to bear, The day will come to birth heir. So I shall send a raven North, Towards the Hills of Harpus, To beckon the hand of a Serth, And bestow offspring to Wryth as promised. I was a stranger to the lands of Gnara, Thousands of miles travelled. No matter how far I went, The nightmares still return. I arrived at Stonegate Castle, With nothing but the clothes on my back. Wryth showed me not to be afraid, Not to wither in the wind, Or shrivel in the rain. So I shall send a raven North, Towards the Hills of Harpus, To beckon the hand of a Serth, And bestow offspring to Wryth as promised. Not long after our introduction, we fell in love. The Nayan’s treated me as their own. My eternal debt is with their house, My repayment will be in flesh and blood. Please forgive me Wryth, Should the Serth that I beckon, Not allow the gift of birth. Would that mark the end of us? I must find a means to become whole, Wait, I must, to regain what they stole. So I shall send a raven North, Towards the Hills of Harpus, To beckon the hand of a Serth, And bestow offspring to Wryth as promised.

VI: The Sound of Knell (Vaytis’ song) I used to be alone, discarded and worthless, Running around in the same empty circles of life. Searching far and wide for a higher purpose, Only to fall down to my battered knees. I had heard myths and fables, Of a garden in the lands afar, Bearing the most poisonous of fruit, And the most perilous of creatures. So I set forth, for the Garden of Lilith, Deep in the Forests of Haro. From the moment that you wake from your sleep, You’re inching closer towards the sound of knell. I finally encountered Sweet Lilith of Haro, When I was qualified, she granted me a new life. Her serpent crept out of her mouth and bit my neck, And she whispers sweet words of death. Sweet words of death. So I set forth, for the Garden of Lilith, Deep in the Forests of Haro. Seeking to fulfill my wishes of a new life, At the behest of any swallow. As I whisper a sweet lullaby of deceit, You will fall under my spell. From the moment that you wake from your sleep, You’re inching closer towards the sound of knell. In that moment a serpent of my own grew, Filling the emptiness inside. I could feel it grow like the hate inside about to spew, Then the emptiness inside died. Mounds of chaos lie ahead, A gentle spread of my lips, One bite will leave many for dead, Upon wake from the serpent’s kiss. The seeds of chaos have been planted, Draizen has fallen under my spell. Shackled and blackened, Soon he will unhinge the gates of hell. Upon wake from his slumber, The weeds of chaos will infest, Spread and destroy all in its path. From the moment that you wake from your sleep, You’re inching closer towards the sound of knell.

VII: Eternally Mine (Alton Nayan’s song) There comes a time in a man’s life, When he must reflect on the paths he’s taken. On the ones he’s created, And the ones he’s destroyed, And when to let hellfire rain down upon the masses below. I’d like to think that mine have been in Gnara’s favor, Though my decisions have not always been painless. Burdens of a King at times, feel like failure. However, with exhausting struggle comes vast greatness. Wryth, follow your heart, For you have always known ally from foe. I will be watching, from the skies above. Our souls will soon be one, Forever, till the end of time. Eternally mine. It’s been far too long Quaytra, That I have embraced your arms, Since I’ve tasted your lips, Or gazed in the deep blue of your eyes. Quaytra, Our souls will soon be one, Forever, till the end of time. Eternally mine. And for me, that day is today, The last of my days. Let the scriptures read, That I didn’t squander in my end, That I didn’t waver in the eyes of death. That I didn’t falter at the thought of my existence becoming absolute. And that every last waking moment, Every last instance that I draw breath, Was in the presence of those closest to the throne. ‘Tis the last day that we’ll exist in worlds apart For it has been far too long, Lord, I am ready to die, Take me away.
